Two 1969 Yearbooks On One CD - for only $20.00 Preview before you buy! Check he links below! Congratulations! You can now own most comprehensive visual record of the 1st Battalion 12th Regiment taken during the Vietnam War. From the basecamp mess hall and motor pool staffs, to the grunts in the field, it's all there! 1969 produced two yearbooks. The first, as best we can determine, were from photographs of the battalion taken in February of 1969. The latter yearbook photos were collected in November of the same year. There were no other yearbooks produced prior or after 1969. The yearbooks are not comprehensive, as men were on R&R, or in the field when photographers were on site. Therefore, some men are not included in this collection. The collections on this disc have been totally re-scanned and enhanced where possible, and some photos have been added to this collection that were not in the originals. This entire collection is in PDF format! You will need the free download of Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view and print this collection. The early yearbook has 103 pages including the front cover and back cover . The latter yearbook contains 106 pages. If you wish to print this collection, you are free to do so, but please do not copy the disc. This CD and book is copyright 2010 by the Red Warriors Vietnam Association. All rights reserved. Viewing and Printing These Books Viewing: You can view this collection on any PC, (MAC or PC) containing the free Adobe Reader which allows you to view PDF files. Printing - Do it yourself: The yearbooks were designed to print on both front and back sides of a standard 8.5x11 inch typing paper. To save costs you can print single sided pages from your own home computer. Or print every other page, then print the remaining pages on the opposite side. Use a heavier stock paper for the front and back cover. Then, take to an office supply store for coil or comb binding (Approximately $4) Printing - Take to a Printer: To print a collated version, where both sides can be printed at once, you can take this disc to an office supply store, such as Office Max or Office Depot, where they can provide this service to you. *A March 2011 inquiry at Office Max determined that they can print double sided black and white pages for 18 cents per sheet, the color covers at 98 cents per sheet. They can also add a coil or comb binding to hold your book together. We suggest a heavier weight paper for the front and back covers. Total cost for printing at Office Max, is approximately $25 for this service. * prices obviously vary in different cities and states. |
