Army Emergency Relief -

Helps Retired and Active Soldiers in Financial Need Red border

 

For over 67 years the AER has helped soldiers in financial need. The AER's mission is to provide financial assistance to soldiers and their families. The AER provides interest free loans and grants for a wide array of assistance to include emergency travel, rent, and automotive repair, medical bills, scholarships, as well as financial assistance to the families of fallen soldiers. Those eligible for relief funds are:

ARF
  • Active duty soldiers, single or married, and their family members
  • Army National Guard and Army Reserve Soldiers on continuous active duty of more than 30 days.
  • Soldiers retired from active duty for longevity or physical disability.
  • Army National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers who retired at age 60.
  • Surviving spouses and orphans or soldiers who died while on active duty or after they retired.
